Why do DU students require a uniform?
Wearing a Dance Unlimited uniform is an important addition to every dance class. It gives our dancers an identity and sense of belonging both to their class environment and in the public arena. Studio Pride is a wonderful way for students to strive to be the best dancer they can be.
Can I come along and watch my child in class?
Of course you can!
We do recommend that the last lesson of each month in an ideal time to view a class.
In special circumstances we welcome visiting grandparents and relatives irrespective of dates - please do let us know if this is to happen.
Can I bring my toddler along with me to view their siblings in class?
We wish this was a good idea , but sadly we prefer that this does not happen.
When are Term fees due?
Our Term fees are due within the first 3 weeks the term.
Movitae
What is Movitae?
Movitae is auseful tool. It is a website and app created for dance schools like us. When learning something new, your dance teacher will film the class and upload it to Movitae where it will be shared with all those (but only those) who are in that dance class. Then when you log into Movitae you will be able to see this dance and practise at home. This is especially helpful when we are learning and remembering dances for our show!
How do I login/join Movitae?
If you are new to Movitae let us know and we will send you a link to create your login. Parents, please use your child's name when creating the account, and enter your own details in the Parent/Guardian section. Once you have created your login, you can find ‘groups’ under the menu and add your child into their dance class -contact us if you are unsure the name of your child’s class.
Make sure you allow Movitae to send you notifications, as you will be alerted each time something is uploaded for you to watch.
I already have Movitae, what do I need to do to join the 2019 classes?
All you need to do is login, and under the menu, find the ‘groups’ button and add yourself into your dance classes

Can I video/film my child in class?
We do film class content and upload to Movitae. You are able to view this yourselves on Movitae. This is the only recording we permit in our classes.
Do I need to re register my dancer each term?
No you don’t. Your registration is for the full year. If you wish to withdraw your child for the following term - you must let us know in writing by emailing danceunlimited2@xtra.co.nz 2 weeks prior to the commencement of a new term.
Where can I find Dance Unlimited on Social Media?
Yes we sure do. We are on Facebook and Instagram - also have Closed Facebook pages for READY SET DANCE and Dance Unlimited Pre loved Uniform Sales.

Do you run classes for Adults?
Yes from time to time we do! Please enquire.
What are POP UP CLASSES?
Dance Unlimited loves bringing more diversity to the range of classes we offer. From time to time, we will run POP UP CLASSES - which last for 5-6 weeks. Examples of these are : ACRO, MUSICAL THEATRE, HIPHOP, ADULT CLASSES
